Google Play, or Play Store, as it is also known, is the application store created by Google where you can find games, movies, music, books, and more. It is available for any mobile device that has the Android operating system.

Now let’s get acquainted with the interface of the store:

At the top of the screen, you will see the search bar. You can write the name of the application, book, movie, or song you want to download there. The button to open the application menu (three lines) will be on the left edge of the bar.

You’ll also see categories of things you can download: Apps, Games, Movies, Music, and Books. It will allow you to quickly find what you are looking for and navigate more easily through the store.

What to do to start using the Play Store?

To use Google Play on your Android, you must have a Google account to associate with your device. This account is the same as the Gmail account.

Step 1: Tap the Play Store app, which is located on one of your Home screens.

Step 2: Choose one of the two options that appear at the bottom of the screen: Existing, to associate the account you already have created in Gmail, or New, to create a Google account. It will be related to the Google Play Store automatically.

Step 3: Finally, follow the steps indicated by your device according to the option you chose in the previous step. The following image shows what the procedure would look like if you chose the Existing option.
